This leading Sunshine Coast event is being hosted this year from May 16 to the 19 and promises to be one of the best held to date with some of the world’s greatest chefs, including Mark Best, Owner and chef of the Marque Restaurant in Surry Hills, NSW, Andre Chiang from Restaurant ANDRE, ranked as one of the best restaurants in the coveted San Pellegrino World’s top 50 List.
Winner of two Michelin stars and sole owner of the exquisite Ristorante Cracco, voted one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, Carlo Cracco will also be showing his award-winning style in the kitchen, and Yoshihiro Narisawa from popular Tokyo restaurant NARISAWA will be presenting some of his unique nature-conservation related dishes.
There will also be a star-studded line up of local chefs including Shane Bailey of Noosa’s popular Berardo’s Restaurant, sharing his passion for local produce, while Brendan Barker, executive chef of highly acclaimed popular sunshine Beach restaurant Embassy XO shows off his skills with asian cuisine.
The celebrity chefs will also be out in Noosa showing their popular flair, including well known Australian chef and restauranteur Matt Moran, Masterchef Australia celebrity Poh Ling Yeow, and local celebrity chef Matt Golinski, regarded as one of the regions top Australian chefs and member of the original ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television show cast.
The Noosa International Food & Wine festival isn’t just about eating and drinking though, with an impressive line up of entertainers including Ian Cooper, one of Australia’s most exciting virtuoso violinists, singling and dance group Mahogany, who have worked with Australia’s greatest entertainers including Guy Sebastian, classic flautist Jane Rutter, and number 1 Australian music charts sensation Timomatic.
